TOPIC:  Financing Stormwater Systems

Stormwater control systems, including green infrastructure projects, require both capital and operations and management costs.  We will discuss the options available for an MS4 to finance these systems including loans, grants, user fees, and integrated planning.

This month's topic is ancillary to our September CSI Network discussion of "Climate Change and Stormwater."  The ensuing discussion revolved around how to pay for infrastructure, maintenance of control measures, and resources.  If you missed the September CSI Network, be sure to login to your Graduate Inspector account where you can find the recording under CSI Network.

About CSI Network:

We are pleased to offer a series of monthly discussions on critical stormwater inspection issues. Called CSI Network these discussions are delivered via interactive webinars, and the topics apply to municipal, construction and industrial regulations, permits and inspections.

These discussion meetings are free to current Certified Stormwater Inspectors (CSI)™ while non-current CSI graduates, and the general public, can join sessions for a $25 registration fee..

CSI Network meetings are scheduled generally on the 3rd Wednesday of the month beginning at 1:00 PM EST.  Each session is schedule for no more than 90 minutes.  Check the registration calendar for exact dates.

Registered participants will receive a Subject Statement by email that will identify the problems and potential solutions of each topic prior to each meeting. This will afford you the opportunity to prepare. Meeting presenters will be assisted by a manager to encourage discussions and to help you share your experiences with other inspectors.  If you are a subject matter expert in one of our meeting topics and would like to make a short presentation to the group, please email us so we can make arrangements (This email address is being protected from spambots.
