Certified Stormwater Inspector – Industrial

Not all industrial operations are able to achieve a "No Exposure Certification" (NEC) status.  Understanding permit requirements helps permittees determine if they can achieve No Exposure status.  Additionally,  understanding permit requirements defines the limited compliance that must be conducted once NEC status is obtained.  Our Certified Industrial Stormwater Inspector class will provide attendees everything they need to know about obtaining and maintaining NEC status for their industrial operations!

During these times, our Certified Stormwater Inspector training classes are being conducted via instructor-led, interactive webinar technology. National Stormwater Center cares about the health and safety of our customers and our staff, and will continue to practice physical distancing measures until such time that in-person classes can safely be resumed.

Focusing specifically on NPDES Industrial Stormwater Permits, these special courses deliver training for facility personnel with responsibility for keeping facilities in compliance with Federal or State permit requirements, and for municipal personnel with responsibiity for inspecting industrial activity.

Support your facility from permit application (NOI, notice of intent), developing your Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), staying in compliance with permit requirements, sampling and waivers, analytical monitoring, through submission of Annual Reports.

Municipal Inspectors will learn their authority and discretion inspecting industrial activities in their jurisdictions, as well as gain an in-depth understanding of the permit regulations.

Earn a five-year Certificate of Training and .8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) awarded by the National Stormwater Center.  Graduates may attend the CSI-Recertification class to extend their National Stormwater Center qualifications for an additional five (5) years.
