FL-Stormwater, Erosion, Sedimentation Inspector

THIS CLASS IS NOW FULL!  

If you have or will have construction and development projects in Florida, you and your crew must have achieved certification in Florida’s E & SC certification program.

This class will meet from 8:30 AM- 4:30 PM on Day One (February 10, 2020), and from 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM on Day Two (February 11, 2020).  NOTE:  Proctored exam begins a 2:00 on Day Two.

Seating is limited to 30 people.  Parking is free.  Lunch will be provided by National Stormwater Center. 

This 2-day training program provides the opportunity to obtain Florida's qualification from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Stormwater, Erosion, & Sedimetation Control Inspector Qualification Certificate Program.  Priority is given to those who work in the construction, inspections, or environmental fields.

Course manuals will be provided for each attendee.  Also provided will be a National Stormwater Center binder with pen.  You may want to bring additional writing materials and highlighter.

Cancellations: Class fees are refunded if recieved 14 days prior to start date, registration fees are non-refundable. Substitutions are allowed with notification to our business office. Cancellation or reschedule requests made less than 14 days of the class start date may not receive a refund nor a transfer. You agree to these terms when registering for the training.

There will be a fee of $250 charged for this class for all attendees, including private and government employees of other cities and counties, including state and federal.

NOTE:  Our system requires a registration fee, although there is none for this class.  Therefore this class is set up as $225 plus $25 for registration, totaling $250 per person class fee.

Late registration and sign-in begins at 8:00 AM on Day 1 (February 10, 2020).  Class begins promptly at 8:30 AM and ends at 4:30 PM.  The Day 2 (February 11, 2020) class will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. and end around 2:00 p.m. with a proctored closed-book examination given. Exams will be graded shortly after the exam so you will know your score. Required passing grade is 70 or better.

CEUs and PDHs awarded by Florida DEP for course graduates:

Florida Licensed General Contractors earn 8 CEUs

Florida Licensed Professional Engineers earn 8 PDHs

Florida Association of Code Enforcement Officers earn 12 CEUs

Florida Licensed Drinking Water and Waster Water Treatment Plant Operators earn 8 hours
